Georgia broke apart from Russia in like 1912 or something like that. but it wasnt officially recognized as an independent contry until like 1994. Well South Ossetia, was part of Georgia but didnt want to be. So they where practically their own country with their own president and everything. So finally South Ossetia decided to OFFICIALLY secede (seperate) from Georgia and become a Russian state. But Georgia got all pissed and was like "NO" so they invaded South Ossetia to try and keep them there. Well South ossetia asked for Russias help so they said ok and no here we are, Russia and Georgia Fighting over South Ossetia. HMMM i wonder who will win lol Russia for sure.?

RUSSIAN CAME TO DEFEND ITS ALLY AND CITIZENS WHO LIVE IN SOUTH OSSETIA.

Plain and simple. No spin there.

Georgia got whipped pretty bad.

South Ossetia won its freedom from Georgia in 1991.  This is something Georgia's president has been planning for a long time.  It's not like Russia or South Ossetia did something recently to provoke an attack from Georgia.

the US interfere in georgia so they can have their cut on oil and threaten russia , that is it.
