Why is there water leaking out from under my fridge-freezer unit

The freezer unit is on the bottom and it´s very old (I´d estimate 15 years or so - it came with the rental). Also it is very hot here at the moment (over 30 degrees celsius, 86 fahrenheit day and night).

  1. The defrost pan can have a hole in it or not be in place the right way. A lot of water all the time could be a leaking water valve for the I/M.
