Why is there white stuff in my contacts when I pull them out of my eye?

I normally clean wash my eyes and face in the morning everyday. I notice when I pull my contacts out at the end of the day, however, I noticed white stuff in them. I have no idea what it is or where its coming from. My eyes don't hurt or anything but I'm in the dark as to what this could be. Could anyone help me out on this?

  1. Try cleaning them with solution, rubbing them in the palm of your hand with a cleaning solution, using your fingertips and rubbing gently (not in a circular motion) and see if that helps get it off. It's likely just deposits on the lenses from your eyes, but too much build up can cause problems. If the white stuff is still on there I would take them by your eye doctor to make sure that everything is ok.

  2. I think its protein....basically eyegunk stuck in your contact. Totally natural, i get that every night too. Just keep them clean and its ok
