Why is this Excel formula giving me a #VALUE! ?

When I use this formula to transfer data from one sheet to another I get the #VALUE! error.

=IF('PM Base'!B149:I179>0,'PM Base'!B149:I179,"")

  1. it looks like you made yourself an odd little "array formula"

    click back in to edit the cell as normal (you might have to double click the cell or hit the F2 key)

    do not hit the usual Enter key...

    you want to hit Control-Shift-Enter

    if you hit all 3 keys properly at the same time, then you will see curly brackets { and } surround your formula.

    then the error should go away.
