Question:

Why is this carry on allowed?

Today on answers i came across one of the most sickening racist pigs i have EVER seen on this site and i've seen some nasty things on yahoo!

For example she went about calling Irish people, dirty, red-headed inbred, stupid/uneducated, alcoholics, not before she verbally abused me and another user first.

My question is why do yahoo allow this carry on? In my opinion a user that could be so vile should not be on the site. my answer was deleted before yahoo eventually deleted her bigoted rant so unfortunately i cant give you a link.

Has anyone else encountered such hatred and had nothing done about it?

  1. Report the abuse.  the more people who report it the better the chance of it being removed.

Alternatively, if it isn't being directed at you, don't worry about it.

  2. yes but hang on, this web site is for us to share are views and opinions yes sadly some folk do go over the top and abuse it, there really is no need to be offencive, but i live in the real world and some folk are.

yahoo can not read every posting all we can do is report it and get it banned people can change ip numbers so yes they can be banned but its impossible to stop them from accessing this site

  3. Ah yes that racist bigoted cow. Ha ha if she actually said anything like the c**p she was spewing in the real world she's be beaten to a pulp.

Yahoo need to start operating IP bans. It still won't stop them but it's better than just letting them set up again and again.

  4. Yahoo will suspend their account, but then they just create new ones.

It sucks though, doesn't it :/

  5. Calm yourself.

My experience is that these people are just filled with hatred.

It eats at them every single day.

They punish themselves far more than you ever could - they alienate friends, lose jobs, get stuck in the lowest levels of society.

She's her own worst enemy.  Pity her, don't hate her.

  6. Today for the first time I came across the same sort of thing (although I didn't see the post you mention), so maybe it's the same person.

If lots of people report her posts, her account could be suspended (which in practical terms means shut down forever).

I think we probably are talking about the same person, and I hope she won't be allowed to continue much longer.
