One of my friends I guess thinks it's bad that I am extra silly/funny around people so I capture their attention. Ever since I was a little girl, I've been goofy. She says it's been a lot lately (me acting extra funny/silly). I can't always be myself around people. I feel like I have to please everybody. I've been told I need to stand up for myself more. People always ask me to borrow stuff and do things for them whether it be as small as borrowing a pencil or bigger as to carrying their stuff to class. I know my friend just wants me to be happy & myself. I don't get why being funny is that bad though. That's what some of my friends like about me. One of my friends said, "You're funny. You make people laugh."

  1. stop carrying things to class for people. What's wrong with you???

  2. I have a cousin who sounds a little like you... on the outside he's really goofy and does the most crazy things for attention. He seems so happy all the time... but on the inside he's so afraid and really doesn't like himself because he think's he's strange, that people reject him. And admittedly, people DO reject him all the time. At his school, he's practically got no friends.

But I think he is the most amazing, beautiful, wonderful person I've ever met. It isn't bad to be silly around people. Thats the thing I like about him most of all. Just beleive in yourself.
