So i'm 17 years old and i eat A LOT!!! i mean like i eat probably 7 or 8 meals a day and i NEVER gain weight. My weight now is 102 and i kind of want to gain at least 5 to 10 more pounds but as much as i eat... i can never gain the weight that i want to! Like i eat everything from healthy (vegetables and fruits) to fatty stuff (burgers, pizza, chips, candy, ETC.) and i never gain anything.

Is this an eatting disorder or does this happen to other people also?

Any advice or comments... thanks in advance!

  1. This happens to a lot of people, and they are envied by many of us who can't even look at a donut without it going to our thighs.  This has to do with your metabolism.  It may or may not be something that follows you through life, however many experience a slow down in their metabolism as they hit their mid twenties.  If you are really concerned with your weight you may want to see your doctor.  He/she can refer you to a dietitian who can set up a special weight gain diet that is good for those with high metabolisms.
