i am a sixteen year old girl who weighed 140lbs. with a height of 5ft. 2in. two or three weeks ago.

i took green tea pills and ate less and exercised for about an hour each day.

and i lost 13lbs.

so now my weight is 127-130. around there.

but my weight fluctuates a lot(is that the word?)

i'm eating the same as usual(the less amount), taking the same amount of pills as directed(my dietician approved), and i'm exercising the same.

but why does my weight go from 127 to 130 or 131?

should i just give up dieting?

oh and i drink A LOT of water, so it couldn't possibly be water weight. i probably lost all that.

  1. It's normal to fluctuate. I can be anywhere from 123-126 on a daily basis. Congrats on losing that much weight, that's huge. Also, when you wake up, and weigh less, one or two pounds this happens to everyone so if thats what your talking about just chill

  2. Because of the fact that you drink a lot of water, may be the reason why it fluctuates. Either way, it's not abnormal especially If your weighing yourself everyday (which is not good, because it's obviously discouraging you) Don't give up, if you really stick to trying to loose weight you will continue, just remeber that the fewer pounds you have to shed, the harder and longer they take to come off so don't get frustrated.

  3. It is just your body's normal weight fluctuations.

  4. Everyones weight fluctuates throughout the day,so don't worry.Continue with the diet & eat well.Congrats on all your efforts. You will continue to lose slowly & that's normal. The average wt.loss recommended for optimum health is 1-2 lbs.a week.& as you get near your perfect weight you may plateau for a few weeks & then start losing again.BOL to you.
