Why is this?..........?

Why is it that when a guy says he prefers skinny women(which is apparently very rare) he gets yelled at for being a shallow, insecure pig? But it's pefectly FINE for him to say he likes bigger girls and then turn around and bash the skinny women to h**l saying things like "eww I want something to hold onto not a little boy" or "I don't wanna be afraid I'll break them" or "All skinny women's bones stick out and that's disgusting and no one wants that". Seriously, I have no problem with you if you like bigger girls, but what makes it okay for you to insult the ones you don't like? Wouldn't it be mean if a guy said he liked skinny women and then turned around and said all big women were disgusting and no one wanted them?

yeah i agree

it is the same with if you call a really pretty girl ugly that is fine whereas by calling the fat unfortunate girl ugly you are really mean. i think it is to do with self esteem of  say the pretty women because insulting them doesnt bother them if everyone else likes them and by not liking them it means you care about more than fake looks. if you were to be mean to the ugly girl it would be seen as sad because people would think her self esteem was so low she probably couldnt take much more.

so yeah back to the skinny thing, because the media displays the perfect female to be model skinny, girls that arent this thin (which is most) would find it nice that a guy didnt like the unrealistic steriotype of what women should look like.  by saying they like girls with a bit of meat, the females are not under as much pressure to be thin.

and by saying to skinny girls that their body type is a turnoff, they would think that it wouldnt matter because the media still plays the skinny  build up as perfect.

but yeah it is stupid!

I wish I knew...I get that, cos Im skinny. Dont know why they think it's alright to call us "Anorexic" and get away with it, but call a fat person "fat" and get in trouble for it. Some people are too ignorant to realise that calling someone "anorexic" is infact an insult.

Its probably because the men cant have the skinny/slim women as they're out of their league and too nice for them lol.. so they settle for the bigger ones... Girls like Kate moss are the wet dreams they have, but know in real life they cant have them lol... ok im prepared for the thumbs down, but really people will agree... im just being honest..

plus all ive ever heard off men is them saying how horrible big women are, so ive heard the opposite of what you have hun..

ya but big women are nasty...and so arent overly skinny woman...being 100 pounds and being 5'5 is the same extreme as being 5'5 and 200 pounds...its just at the other end of the spectrum....its better to be in the middle....you would be perfect at like 120..
