Because of global warming, it is scaring people and we need to change our ways that is why petrol has gone up because petrol is running out

The universe isn't. Going "green" is a trend towards becoming more ecologicaly responsible. If we don't fix things like global warming, and the burning of fossil fuels, we could end up destroying this planet.
