Toyota is a company making money and can afford to put high sums into it.s racing programs and buy /invest in teams like JGR .(I bet some money is lining NASCAR pockets too) If you really think about it it's only a matter of time before they or other j*p companies buy into dodge,ford or chevy

Not taking anything frrom Waltrip or Davis but they did not have the resources needed for the R&D and development of the cars.

Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota Racing Development meshed and the results were leaps and bounds over the ground work layed by the teams from last year.
