  1. Because, without trust, your friendship is nothing.

Lets say, you guys are in the same class in high school or something.

And you like this guy, and tell your friend not to tell anyone.

If there's no trust, you would have to keep a lot of things to yourself.

Not just crushes, problems and issues and if you're ever depressed, you can always talk to friends about it and trust that they'll make you feel better.

Without this trust, your friendship is boring and unreal.

Friends will always be there for you, when you're happy and when you're sad. But without trust, that won't happen.

  2. Trust is essential to true friendship. We all need someone with whom we can share our lives, thoughts, feelings, and frustrations. We need to be able to share our deepest secrets with someone, without worrying that those secrets will end up on the Internet the next day! Failing to be trustworthy with those intimate secrets can destroy a friendship in a hurry. Faithfulness and loyalty are key to true friendship. Without them, we often feel betrayed, left out, and lonely. In true friendship, there is no backbiting, no negative thoughts, no turning away.

  3. that's basic.

a friend is your platonic other half so if there is trust, there is no friendship.

would you really consider somebody your friend, if you hear she's been spilling your secrets to other people?

  4. Trust is EVERYTHING in a friendship. Friends have each others backs and you need to trust your friend will do that for you. If you are going to tell secrets to your friend you need to trust they will be kept and you need to trust them that they will stay your friend through thick and thin.

  5. trust is vital in a friendship because is you when you have a friend you should be able  to trust them with secrets and personal facts and know they wont tell others or lie if you don't have trust in a friend they aren't a friend at all all they are is another person in the world who has no connection with you at all.
