Personally I don't know much about two-up, but I don't see the big deal. Surely gambling on pokies is fair worse than this simple game of tossing coins?? It send as many people broke, it doesn't ruin many Australian families yet it's illegal??

  1. Its not, it is a tradition to play it in pubs in australia!

  2. two up is played at the burswood casino in perth all the time.

  3. Well people dont like gamblers not gambling at anywhere they want.....Two Up is only allowed on ANZAC DAY since its commemerates the ANZACS and how braveley the fought for our coutry!

  4. its not specifically illegal. Its just you need a state license to run any gambling game. Most pubs/clubs/casinos would rather spend their money getting licensed for pokies.... In NSW Starcity used to offer a regular 2 up game but they didn't make enough money so they switched back to a regular casino game.... ah well..
