Because there is no gravity in space so your clothing would be all over the place.  A loose shirt could float up and obstruct your vision, for example.

It's just simply more practical.  A loose flowing garment would get in your way and be incredibly frustrating, while tight-fitting clothes allow you to do whatever you need to do.

(I'm assuming you're talking about clothing *inside* the spacecraft :-) )
