  1. because weed is an hallucinogenic drug, it does different things to everyone.

  2. Because pot is a smooth smoke without additives unlike tobacco before they put those 5,000 different chemicals in it.

    arsenic is so yummy

Pretty much what I am trying to say is cultivating marijuana is easier than making smokable tobacco. No money for the man.

s***w that, LSD is more harsh than salvia. Salvia has what? a 5 min. peak as LSD has a minimum of a 2 hour peak. Unless you're getting the bathtub version.

  3. i dont know but im all for the goverment making weed legal theres only one legal drug i know its called i dont but yea there is a legal drug out there its as strong as acid

  4. Europeans drank and gambled long before they discovered weed. When tobbaco was introduced it was at first discouraged in Europe but was sucha big cash crop that they couldn't outlaw it. England made money buying tobbaco from the coloinies and selling it through the mercantilism system. Weed became popular much later, and was associated with Native Americans, who were thought of as stupid. Besides, all the other "vices" were by then socially acceptable. So basically cultural origin and the resistance of our Britush originated society.

  5. Because people think weed is so bad and messes you up terribly. In my mind tobacco, and alcohol are a lot worse then weed. You get high off of weed which is no where as bad as getting drunk. When your high you still no what your doing. Unlike when you get drunk. There are really no sideffects expect for being mad hungry after smoking. Weed is not addicting also. A person who is sent to jail for 1 year for smoking illegal narcotics cost 23,000$ a year. Times that by the thousands in jail for smoking weed. We would have so much more money for our states. Less crowded jails. Plus if stores are allowed to sell weed. THEY CAN TAX IT. Boy they would like that. BUT, I also think it should only be sold to adults 21+ age. Weed in my opinion should be legal.

  6. I found this out not to long ago, but guess who were some of the "Partners" in the "Partnership for a Drug Free America."  Alcohol and Tobacco firms. When this was made public they were asked to withdraw support and now Drug companies fund it. Many of the Pro-Pot people suggest that since people can grow it so easily, it would be hard to tax as another reason. I take a libertarian stance on it, if it doesn't effect me, it's none of my business.

  7. the government has ways of taxing tobacco, alcohol, and the lottery. if the government could figure out a way to control marijuana cultivation, and tax its sale and/or use, they would legalize it, too.

  8. The tobacco, alcohol, lottery and anti-marijuana lobbyists work full time, and make a lot of money, to keep it that way.

Did you ever consider how many people earn a living off illegal marijuana?

  9. You can grow weed (and make alcohol, but that's illegal without a license) so they can't tax it.   All the others are taxed.

  10. Alright look man, once the government figures out how to tax marijuana, it will be legal and the us economy will be even better

  11. i agree, they should all be illegal. Except the lottery.

  12. Because America is a hypocritical country! There are millions of people that get aggressive, rude, sexually harassing, getting into fistfights and running over people in the street because a drink pushes them right over the edge. Yet, it's available on every street corner, every supermarket, next to the cereal and broccoli as if it's not a drug. And boy do we love to advertise drinking in the media, portraying our whole life as a stereotype, it's okay to nearly drink yourself to death in college, 'it's a part of that phase' and what man doesn't find it normal to sit on the couch with a sixpack. Also there are millions of Americans that spend 24/7 in a casino, throwing away all that money into an addiction that doesn't give back. But boy do we love to advertise that, giving a false promise to millions of desperate people because of the hypocritical economy or extreme wealth with bright lights and big dollar signs. And meanwhile, there are also millions of smokers that smoke daily, are relaxed and open minded people, that mind themselves, are never as loud or aggressive as drunk people, that don't seem to have a suddenly uncontrollably urge to vandalism as drunk people and they're considered junkies and criminals. Ofcourse, it can trigger psychological problems, but it won't cause them. Your problems (and sometimes only capacity of a problem) can come out or get worse. But only if you severely overuse or are already emotionally or mentally unstable. But that doesn't mean you can't be a user. There is nothing wrong with smoking a joint every now and then to relax or have fun. Just like there is nothing wrong with having a drink sometimes to relax or have fun. Just like there is nothing wrong to play poker and bet a little money to make it more excited to relax or have fun. JUST DON'T OVERDO IT!

  13. You CAN make ethanol without a license. You can make beer and wine, at home, no problem. It still makes billions in taxes

Yes you can grow cannabis. If it is made legal most will buy it NOT grow it. And guess what? It will make billions of dollar for the government. BUT it has to be legal FIRST!

Cannabis is still illegal do to propaganda, misconceptions and big lobbies against it(alcohol, drug and tobacco)

Ya and salvia is not that bad, just understand how to use it first

  14. W. That is my answer to that.

  15. marijuana is illegal because it has been scientifically proven it can cause mental health and psychological troubles such as psychosis (especially), low motivation, depression and anxiety. It has also been proven to be very psychologically addicting, where the users thoughts are consumed my impulses to use the drug until the point where they have no control over thier use anymore.

By all means im not saying tobacco and alcohol cannot cause these problems and in my opinion alcohol can be more harmful than just a bit of weed. Tobacco on the other hand is quite a mild drug and does not cause any of these psychological harms... however it'll burn up your lungs... and your bank account in no time at all.

the lottery is legal because it's nice for some people to believe, that one day they may be millionaires and the number of gamblers is far less that the number of people hooked on drugs, alcohol or tobacco

Hope this gives you a bit of an insight
