Why is wii fit so expensive

its just a game, and they are charging the same price as a game boy advance SP. How can a weighing machine and a Game disk cost that much to manufacture.

Almost all games for the Wii are $50. Then you add the balance board to that and it increases the price. It's the same reason that Guitar Hero and rock Band are more expensive. And the balance board is very sensitive to how you balance you body and very accurate in weighing you. It's actually a pretty sophisticated little device.

Dont blame the game for the high price. The Balance Board is what raises the price. It is a very fancy piece of equipment.

It is the first 3rd party Balance Board. It costs, retail, 64.99 in U.K. currency. That is very pricy for just the Balance Board by itself. Since its 3rd party, it does not come with any game at all.

Thus, Wii Fit is expensive due to the amazingly high-tech Balance Board. We should be happy it does not cost more.

its because the wii fit just came out not too long ago. if u wanna wait till the price dropps down a bit then do that. i want one for christmas or boxing day. cause u know the sales help on the 26th of december

It's a fancy peice of equipment. The Ballance board tracks your center of ballance with incredible accuracy.

The Wii Fit Balance Board is basically 4 electronic bathroom scales put together. That wouldn't be cheap.
