  1. He did a lot in world war 2  Duh net fl-ix has a lot on him he was a hero

  2. He was one of the earliest voices warning of Hitler.

During WWII, he was Prime Minister of the U.K. , offering,

    "Blood, toil, tears, and sweat".

He had a large influence on the post WWII world.

  3. I don't know but I have a refrigerator magnet with a quote from him on it... "If you're going through h**l, keep going."

  4. I just read about that in Social today!! He is a man that always was smoking a cigar, and he had something to do with the World War Two. He said something like, "We shall not give up for war, We shall not give up for... something else, And we shall never give up on..... something else again." I wasn't really paying attention though... haha!!

  5. Sir Winston Churchill was one of the 20th Century's most prolific Prime Ministers of England. He was Prime Minister through most of World War 2. Famous for his 'finest hour' speech and his most famous line "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few" after the end of the conflict.

  6. He was the PM of Britain in WWII and did lots of public and behind the scenes stuff to keep Britain in the war long enough for the US to enter.  Delivered a lot of good speeches too

  7. he was an old pommy homosexual cigar smoker

  8. I'm recalling this from memory, but he was Prime Minister of Great Britain during WWII.  Ruling a country during wartime is about as arduous as you can get, especially when your country is being bombed by Germans constantly.  US citizens remember Roosevelt for being a wartime leader, so the Brits logically remember Churchill.

  9. isnt that a brand of cigaretts???
