Why is yahoo getting rid of Yahoo! Tones?

they said that they would be getting rid of it as of December1 ,2006, is this service old or something!?

  1. I was asking people that too!!!!!!!  and i found out from my best friend that it was because people were downloading songs and it caused viurses on there computers!

    THat sucks!
