Why isn't Allen Iverson on USA basketball team?

well when they were setting up the roster they already had d-williams, cp3,jason kidd, dwayne wade, and micheal redd playing guard also the fact that they only really had 3 big men in the team(dwight, boozer, and bosh) they had to add another big foward or center to compliment the 3 other big men and they went with tayshaun

because hes overrated. He is a guy who gets a lot of shots per game thus gets a lot of points and everyone thinks hes great. He is a ball hog hes way undersized and who would you take out to put AI in? Kobe? Redd, Kidd, Paul, Williams? Anthony? James? i know i didn't get them all but AI didn't deserve it plain and simple.

I truly dont know why. AI chemistry wise wouldnt be a problem. Carmelo is his teammate, Kobe, Lebron, Dwade,Howard--all of them are perennial all stars that play with him every year. Hes a natural scorer, yeah but dont you need points to win? AI is FAR from overrated if anything hes underrated. Too many guards?? His stats dont differ from many guards on this team.

Look at the Head-to-Head Match-ups.

Plus Michael Redd &Dwade are in in the eastern conference,easier opponents=better stats.
