Why isn't Angelina Jolie going to be lara croft?

i heard somewhere that she isn't going to play Croft anymore. Why not? Who is the new replacement? when can we expect a new film out?

She's too old now, I guess. Anyway, Karima Adebibe would be a lot better ^^ Angelina has the right attitude, but Karima has  the physical appearance, the face of the Lara Croft as I imagine her. <3

Edit: the new Lara Croft, Alison Carroll, has neither the attitude nor the physical appearance: it is really a VERY bad choice!

The new replacement is Alison Carroll, a 23-year-old professional gymnast. I think that saying that she will 'replace' Angelina was wrong because it is causing some confusion. She will not replace Angelina as an actress, she will replace her as Lara Croft. I hope this makes it a bit clearer :) I think it would have been right to say that she is replacing Karima, the official model for the Tomb Raider Legend game, because she was the most recent 'Lara Croft'. Carroll, in an interview, explained that she is more of an action hero, than a model. She is actually able to do the flips and jumps that Lara does in the games and is therefore a much more realistic Lara Croft than the previous models who were all just posers.

Of course, I doubt she will be as good as or better than Angelina, she's just too sweet and hasn't got the right attitude :)
