Why isn't Bush / Cheney attending the RNC ???

is this the first time in history that a sitting president and vp didn't attend their own parties nomination ceremony ?

highly unusual. ....to say the least.

  1. Wasn't the hurricane timely for them?  It gave them an excuse not to show their face in person at the convention.  The Republicans are definitely happy they won't be in attendance.  It doesn't fit their agenda to talk about "change" in Washington, when the change they want is the way Republicans under Bush have run the government for 6 of the last 8 years.  They talk about change, but I bet when the convention is over it will be hard to find any change in the platform of the party.  Their platform and policies will be the same and the only change is someone else to carry on the same failed policies.  


  2. because they don't care what happened before they were in office and they don't care what happens after...they were there to make other people a lot of money, that's it.  

  3. wow you people are so out of touch. ITS CALLED A HURRICANE!!! The new governor of Louisiana has asked fo rhelp in advance, like the first gov. should have done, so they are busy helping out.

    Please educate yourself. the dems thrive on misinformed voters.
