My doctor has put me on clomid to help with ovulation. I am taking metformin also. I am on month 3 of the trial thing i am up too 150 mg. I sure hope this works out for me. SHe told me it is to see if i am ovulating or not then when we find the correct does then i can take it for 3 months but once it is over 300 mg then i have to take estrogen pills. She said it probly wont work then i would have to see a re speliest.

  1. i was taking the same thing but i was on 50mg of clomid and we got pg on the second try. i didnt know they gave a high dose of clomid like that i thought they only went up 2 a 100mg. any way give urself time and try not 2 think about it, and when ur not thinking about it thats when its going 2 happen.

wish u well and good luck.

  2. If it doesn't make you ovulate, ask doc if you can switch to Femara.  Clomid made me ovulate for 3 months, but month 4 it quit working.  Doc said some women become "immune" to it.  They switched me to Femara and I got pregnant cycle #1.

    Good luck-baby dust!

  3. lucky you actually got to your 3rd month, I took my first cycle in June and I'm still wanting for a period(got BFN on HPT 3x) I am planning on paying my Dr a visit tomorrow though. My goal is to be preggers by the end of the year.

Good luck to you though and buckets full of baby dust on you (and me too for that matter)LOL

  4. Ask about Femara. In  women who CLomid did not work there is a great chance that this will. It's a pill and is fairly cheap and has hardly any side efects. Good luck to you!
