  1. Curlin's next race is scheduled to be the Stephen Foster Handicap at Churchill Downs on June 14. I will be there along with, I imagine, a lot of other people.

  2. you have to wake for the breeders cup classic

  3. You have it backwards, why isn't Big Brown going to challenge Curlin after the Triple Crown races (for 3 year olds) Could it be that his greedy owners are chicken sh*ts

  4. Curlin isn't eligible to run in the Big Three races since they are for 3-year olds only (he is 4).

  5. KMN: No statement has actually been made on the subject. Jackson said he might want to take the horse to see the world, but I assume that the plan will deflate further and further as the year goes along. He is entered in the Arc, and is planning toward the Classic, foremost, then the Japan Cup, and then the Arc (one must enter in the Arc this early in the year).

Iavarone also announced that he was going to run Big Brown in the Travers followed by the Classic, where a meetup with Curlin is likely.

  6. Because the "Big Three Races" are for 3-year old thoroughbred horses only, Curlin was a 3-year old last year during the Big Three Races so he could not compete in them this year.

Hopefully we will get to see Big Brown compete against Curlin in the Breeders Cup Classic in October!

  7. Well, he's not allowed to run in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, or Belmont because he's 4... those races are only for horses who are 3 year olds.  Curlin has his own races to run in this year... more important races with more important competition... international competition... he won the Dubai World Cup earlier this year.

Later this year he's going to make the Secretariat-type switch to the grass and take on the top horses in the world outside the US... Curlin is aimed for the Arc.

  8. Apparently you dont follow horse racing very much. If you did, you would know that the Triple crown races are restricted to 3 year olds and Curlin is 4

  9. By now you know that the triple crown is for 3 year olds.  I did however read that Big Brown will possibly run in the Breeder's

Classic.  That would be great to see Big Brown go against some better competition

  10. CURLIN IS A 4 YEAR OLD....HE RAN IN THE TRIPLE CROWN LAST YEAR.....

BIG BROWN MIGHT GET A CHANCE TO TAKE ON THE

CHAMPION LATER ON THIS YEAR, BUT HE MUST 1ST

DO WHAT NO HORSE HAS DONE IN 30 YEARS, WIN 3

    RACES IN 5 WEEKS......GOOD LUCK U.P.S......
