Why isn't Genentech in Fortune?

Question

With $11.7B annual revenue and being a publically traded company, Genentech appears to qualify in the 200-250 ranking. However, it is not even mentioned in the Fortune 500. Why is that?

Hoffman LaRoche, a Swiss company, owns a majority share in Genentech. Details about ownership and how Genentech is still publicly traded can be found in Genentech's corporate history timeline on their website between 1990-2000.
