Why isn't GlovePIE responding?

I have connected my Wiimote to the computer, and it appears in the game controllers section of the control panel, so I know it's connected properly. However, when I try to run a GlovePIE script, it appears to run, but it does not respond to the Wiimote. It just acts like it is not running. My BlueTooth adapter is Voice Star 550.

What am I doing wrong?
