Maybe if he were at the Airport grinning like an idiot all the time,we'd be better off.

  1. coz hes an **** hole, sorry but he is. the guys at the olympics have dun a great job.but the the lads on the front line are doing it day afther day with no thanks from the goverment.

IF he will not say anything then let us say something

THANK YOU GUYS AND GIRLS.COME HOME SAFE WE ALL MISS YOU AND YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB. WE SEND YOU OUR LOVE. WE WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU WHEN YOU COME BACK

  2. The reason he shuns it because it is association with death and failure to protect his own citizens. He has enough failure to cope with already and bad associations can only add to them. Completely his own failings as a prime minister i might add, the worst chancellor since Baldwin

  3. Unlike Sarkozy and Zapatero of Spain who seem to have time for such things, our Gordy is a serious politician who keeps reminding us that he is getting on with the business of running the country which does not include time for attending funerals. I mean, have you tried getting time off to attend one from your boss? He will probably tell you, if he's serious like our Gordy, that he's gotta a business to run and you're not employed to go off to funerals when there's work to be done.

  4. because its a topsy turvy world...our troops dont get the respect they deserve, because the govenments far too worried about upsetting people

  5. He should be made to answer the questions of the families of troops who have died due to their poor or non existent equipment.

This entire charade of a war has been a low point in British politics. His hollow promise of cooling the US/UK 'Special Relationship' when he first took office and relying less on spin and more on being honest was nothing more than lying spin- more fool us for thinking he would be any different than his predecessor

F*ck them all. This country needs a political revolution

  6. If I'd lost someone close he'd be the last person I would want to see.

But at the same time I think it is scandalous that he should try to bathe in other peoples glory and success, typical really I always thought that is why we have royalty because they are non political.

  7. A good question!Gordon Brown will not face reality!By that I mean that he would be admitting guilt for that gallant soldier's death! Also He!Like other politicians would not be able to face the relatives of the deceased!

The way he has grinned his way through the medal table!Anyone would believe that he personally had anything to do with it!

Which ever way you look at it!Gordon Brown is an incompetent political cretin!Who is unable to run a Student Union!Let alone run a Nation's finances!

  8. prob to do with publicity. its his government which has gone against many brits concerning iraq. so the deaths of soldiers and others is actually partly is fault. also with not supplying the right equipment and stuff doesnt help. whereas he can smile away when the olympians get back as they did well when he was in office so makes him look good, and he gets his mug in the papers

  9. Because he's an absolute A R S E who doesn't care about all the troops he's potentially sending to their death nor does he care who dies they're all just numbers to him, they'll just recruit more young boys and girls and turn them into soldiers who will go out and fight maybe die for this country and for what it's not even are war.

  10. guilt perhaps?

  11. very good point.  Now i think of it maybe the guys in the forces should take up sport instead, they might get some airtime then.

  12. A very good question. His advisers (???) have probably told him to stay away as that fixed stupid smile of his would look out of place on these solemn occasions. Let our servicemen and women be met by those who care about them, and not by a man who uses them as a disposable commodity.

  13. This is the best point I have ever seen on Yahoo Answers.

I wish I had asked it.

The only person who could answer this is Gordon Brown.

Do you know you can start a petition on the website for 10 Downing Street. Please do. I would but I do not want to take this wonderful opportunity away.

This could be even bigger than the petition to remove speed cameras.

  14. Because politics suck, along with Gordon pain-in-the-butt Brown.

  15. A consequence of invading other people's countries is that a lot of your troops get killed.  If Gordon Brown was at the airport every time one of ours was killed in the Middle East, he'd have no time for being PM.

However, turning up at the airport when Britain actually has some success at sport doesn't take up much time at all.
