Why isn't Limewire working for me?

I've used it before maybe a couple of months ago and it was fine, now I just downloaded the new version but when I go to search for a song, nothing comes up, and I checked the firewall thing and that's all clear, what else could it be? How do I fix it?

you have to be patient this happens to everyone at the beginning sometimes it wont allow you to search, you are going to have to do the following things, Either wait for it to connect, restart limewire, restart your computer, OR reinstall the new version of the limewire.
