  1. Roger is taking time off, probably training in Dubai.

  2. As far as I'm away he likes having a week break after a grand slam so he will be trainin somewhere nice this week before taking part in a grass court event next week in his preperation for defending his Wimbledon title.

Also Roger never participates at Queens so the reason I am stating is most probably correct or it may be because of appearance fess but that is incredibly unlikely.

  3. No, Roger is still frustrated with himself for losing very badly in the French Open to Rafa & may be preparing for the grass in Wimbledon.

If he loses again to Rafa on grass, it will be goodbye for him & follow the lead of Henin & retire. Just like Pete Sampras' closing end.

  4. yeh he plays in halle, and the organisers there offer him more than the ppl at queens do

  5. i think the real reason is they try to avoid each other (rafa and roger) in tune up games so they get their own way of preparation....and they schedule this at the beginning of the tour as early as the last week of december of the current year...

  6. Federer always plays at Halle instead of the "Artois Championships" because it's his "Traditional" warm up right before Wimbledon.

Like for example Andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewitt all play at the "Artois Championships" because it's their preferred lead up to Wimbledon.

Federer also has had lots of success at Halle winning many titles there!

    Hope I Helped!
