Why isn't Toy Story 3 coming out till 2010?

It takes a long time to make a animated movie like that.almost 5 years.

Its coming out 2010 part of that is because it wasnt planned to be made and Pixar has a lot of other projects on there hands right now I believe a little more than 6 movies they are making right now and thats not including Toy Story 3 and any other yet to be undisclosed films plus they had to obtain all of the actors to play there original characters

it takes 9 years to make a movie like that so when toy story came out it took about a year for then to deside they are going to make a 3

Because disney is retarted and makes all those other dumb movies like Wall E and it postpones movies like toy story 3.

Well it does take a super long time to make that kind of movie. Plus sometimes like things come up. So be patient........
