Question:

Why isn't any bringing up the fact that Sarah Palin is under investigation?

If the allegation is true that she fired Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan for his reluctance to fire her ex-brother-in law rather than a legitimate reason, this would show that she abused her power. Palin claimed she dismissed him for poor work performance. If so, then why did she offer him another job as executive director of the state Alcoholic Beverage Control Board? She turned around and appointed his replacement, Chuck Kopp, who was investigated for sexual harassment. Forget her "experience"; do you want her to be VP or President (if McCain dies) if this is true?

  1. so your much rather vote for a man who believes in abortion but not killing terrorist.

  2. If this is the worst thing about her, than I feel pretty confident in her. She wanted her EX brother in law fired because he STUN GUNNED his 10 year old step son, and allegedly was drinking in his squad car. I think these were legitimate reasons to ask for his dismissal.

  3. It HAS been all over the news reports I've been reading.  But it isn't BIG news because the allegations are pretty clearly false.  And as more information is presented by the popular press, Palin will become more and more of a hero for ethically handling a case where her ex-brother-in-law had admitted Tazing his 10-year-old step son.  What an animal he is.

  4. It is being discussed, but not made into a big deal.  The amount of money being spent for her attorney ($95K paid by the state) has also been mentioned.  Whether or not her ex BIL is a jerk is not relevant.  As the governor she is not allowed to interfere in the employment of someone for a personal reason.

Time will tell if there is more to the story or not.

  5. There's a lot more to worry about then that - the American people are worried about middle names and "terrorist fist jabs", we don't want to hear about policy and the fact that McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time.

  6. Because it's petty and trivial.

I'm for a commander in chief getting rid of creeps in the system

who misuse their authority on law abiding civlians and on the

do nothings who condone or tolerate it.

No doubt she'll be vindicated. It's a formality.

  7. New question: Did she cover up her daughter's birth?  I have a feeling there is going to be a big speech tomorrow.

  8. Why isn't anyone bringing up her 5 month old with down syndrome that she still breast feeds?  I think her child needs her more right now and McCain should rethink his choice.
