See you're only considering the players that play in the NBA. CJ Bruton and Patrick Mills have been playing great at PG, Joe Ingles is a great young player who could turn a few NBA heads these olympics. And out frontcourt of Bogut, Andersen and Anstey could challenge any other team. (Nathan Jawai isn't playing because he is commited to the Raptors.)

  1. Too bad about Nathan Jawai. He's an absolute beast under the basket if you saw his MVP performance in the NBL All Star Game.

I doubt that any team besides Team USA can even hit the radar. So much is being made of that bronze chip on their shoulders. Just hopefully they don't crack.

Personally, Australia's under the radar because they just don't have that much quality when you look at other teams.

They need a better quality professional league. When you have teams running out of the NBL (Sydney Kings, Brisbane Bullets and the Singapore Slingers which is my home team), you are going to need more. Other than Bogut, the rest of the talent Down Under are warming benches or being journeymen for the NBA.

Improve the league and then we might be able to look at the Olympics.

  2. cuz USA is gonna crush everyone

  3. They have crocodile dundee...quite frankly thats all you need..

  4. Idk. They're not that good in basketball I believe. Who do they have? Andrew Bogut and Nathan Jawai? That won't do it. In other sports though, maybe. But not in basketball.

  5. We (Australia) should do well in the overall medal tally (Top 5 is predicted) but in basketball? I'm not too sure.
