All he will eat is the crickets, and refuses to eat the green vegetables that he usually eats.(carrots, broccoli, lettuce) Is there something wrong with him? Is there anything we can do to make him eat them??? Thanks!

  1. he likes the crickets better but try some wax worms or meal worms then he might eat those if u only put them in and some vegies but if in about a day he dosnt eat them then feed him less crickets and some vegies the worms u can still feed him but they can just be used to take him off the crickets. also try just putting in some lettace and maybe h**l just eat that

  2. You just have to find one he likes. The only acceptable lettuce is romaine lettuce, but that has to be mixed with other greens (learned that the hard way). I also recommend mustard greens. Romaine mixed with mustard greens is my bearded dragon's favorite food.

  3. are the fresh?

  4. He most be a baby bearded dragon and that is fine he won’t eat crix. Mine like’s veggies more than crix but all bearded dragons are different like us humans. If u wants him badly to eat the veggies just put 2 or 3 wax worms or meal worms in the salad bowl with the veggies.

Wax worms: (High in fat only feed 4-5 a week at max)

Meal worms: (I don’t recommend this but people say it is fine but I have got told that               bearded dragon’s don’t kill the meal worms and eat they eat it a live and the meal   worm bites his way out there belly and can kill your bearded dragon.)

Salad or veggies: (I use Italian mixed salad or rocket salad)

    Owner of:

    1 bearded dragon

    1 hieroglyphic turtle

    1 red claw crayfish

    2 buggies

    1 dog

    1 cat

  5. nooo its fine it must be a baby babies like meat and adults love both meat and veggies

  6. I suppose he has just become bored of them, then again, my beardie went of his veg one day and he hasn't eaten them since.

Don't feed any veg that has "lettuce" in it - not even romaine...

Try him on some rocket, some herbs like basil, some peas, some dandelion leaves - maybe even some watercress - or even salad cress in the little tub with soil in.

Just mix it up and keep to any deep dark greens, excluding spinach.
