Why isn't my Belkin router working?

My router recetnly stopped working, I don't know why.. It used to have a green light.. but now the green light has turned to orange.. so how do I fix it ?

  1. Check you network connection to your internet, amke sure thatit is plug into the correct port (wan) port

  2. My Belkins (I manage 3 networks with them) on occasion will just drop the connection, even though the setting is for 'always connected'.

    It could be a voltage drop or something, but these routers 'forget' the ISP log in username & password.

    Cable up a comp'r to the router's 'DSL in' slot, open Internet Explorer, type '192.168.1.1' into the address bar.  This gives you the router management interface.  Check under 'Connection' tab to make sure it still has the correct info there.
