  1. Mebe lifting heavier??

Your body tends to adapt, so it's not wrong for you to NOT feel sore.

  2. You need to increase the weight or isolate different muscles.  After a few workouts the muscles get used to the activity so the pain goes away.  But this is not a bad thing.

  3. you need to increase your weights/reps.

pain is the most obvious sign of muscle tearing, which is what you want if you want to get them bigger

oh and dont forget to work your triceps, they make up more of you total arm muscle mass than your biceps

  4. it's completely normal for the soreness to go away after the first couple work outs.  I can't tell you a perfect explanation, aside from your body adjusting itself to your new healthy lifestyle.

If you skip a week then go back to the gym, you'll prolly get sore the next day.

Doing the same routine is OK, as long as youre separating different muscle groups for different days.

    I like Day 1 - shoulders/legs

            Day 2 - back/biceps

            Day 3 - Chest/Triceps

Also, I hope you're drink a protein shake after every work out to gain maximum muscle.  Also, if you want, drink one at breakfast and before bed.
