Question:

Why isn't my cd drive reading my cd?

I am on a windows Xp (microsoft) laptop that my dad got me for my birthday. I just put in a burnt cd (one that i burnt music on to) and it won't load. I cleaned the disk off and everything but it doesnt seem to read it. Help?

  1. Are you sure that you told the computer to burn the CD?  THat can be a little tricky and the contents of the CD could still  be in a buffer on the HD of the PC, waiting to be told to burn.


  2. Try restarting your computer.
