Why isn't my new group showing up on the search?

I just started a new group and I tried searching for it so see if it was accesible to others, but I can not find it.

You got to activate it first.

ok when you open your group did you check it off to add it to the-->Listed in Yahoo! Groups directory

Cause if you didn't that could be another reason why it is not showing. Check again and plus if you just made the group it takes a bit before it shows up

there's no such thing as activating a group- it's not in the directory due to it takes a few days for the pages to update. no new group lists right away- a closed group wont list at all
