Why isn't my pc connecting to the internet but yet my wifi connection works great?

you could have a bad ethernet cable. check the cable for damage and connectivity. and if that doesn't work hit it with a hammer

Very easy to solve

Change the channel in your router from the default channel 6 to anything else - channel 1 and 11 are first picks

Make sure that your router is high and not obstructed

that happens to me some times try to restart your computer....if not you will need to click on the wifi icon on the bottom left hand corner of you screen and make a new internet conection.

if you use a wireless connection on your pc too then there might be a problem with the wireless card , in that case try to uninstall then reinstall the driver , it should work fine

mine does that. check the clock and make sure the time/ date is right. mine randomly changes and if its not right my internet wont connect.  but otherwise i dont know
