Why isn't myspace letting me change my email?

when you entered the new email address it should say that you need to go onto your old email and approve of it. they do that just incase someone hacks onto your myspace and changes it.

Because that is what you signed up with. You can't change it unless you delete that profile and make a new one with the new email addy.
