  1. CCTV covered these - maybe if you're not in China you can get a satellite/cable feed somehow? Though it finishes on 17th.

  2. I don't think many are entertained by shooting. its all about basketball, baseball, swimming, soccer, tennis. Its really unbelievable that the IOC is removing baseball from the 2012 games. I mean come on, synchronized diving IS a sport, and baseball, one of the truly awesome spectacles, is not going to be on the Olympic lineup? gross.

  3. I agree that these need better coverage!

  4. You're incorrect.  According to nbcolympics.com, shooting was broadcast 8/9 on USA and 8/10 on MSNBC.  I can confirm this because I watched both broadcasts.

  5. I'm with you. I shoot trap/skeet myself, and would've liked to have seen the trap broadcast on TV. It just doesn't have the ratings other sports do. I did, however, watch the finals in its entirety online. However, air pistols/rifles don't really do it for me. I'd rather see a long range (100+yd) rifle competition, where people choose their caliber, rifle type, etc, rather than some .17cal air powered pistol. Maybe they start at 100yds and move out to 300 or something. Those Italians can really make and shoot their shotguns! The reaction time of some of those shooters is amazing, even in that rain/fog!

  6. you are in a small group of people that thinks it would be interesting.  The networks have to show the sports that the masses will watch.  Nobody is going to watch shooting.  After 10 minutes people would be changing the channel..../

  7. It was.  But I think the N. Korean winner just got busted for drugs.
