I live in Miami and I think that it is good that we are under a tropical storm watch.. however still some models are forecasting it to not be so west of the forecast and if they don't upgrade this thing now people won't have anytime and will think oh its nothing much coming

  1. Heh.

We had tornados and they didn't warn anyone!

We are having extreme weather here but heck.

    They aren't watching us.

I live near miami. Well more like a good hour drive but yeah.

Everyone already thinks there is a storm coming and boarding us, my mom is doing the same and grabbing her generator.

Even though this thing is a 1, lets hope we don't have another 5.(katrina)

  2. Because most of the spider models point to the western coast of Florida. If you are so worried, prepare yourself. Go buy water, fill your tank, and buy some canned goods.

  3. Because the distance from the eye of the storm to Miami does not fall into the watch area. Right now it cuts off at Card Sound Bridge. I'm guessing when the 5pm advisory comes out, Dade and maybe Broward will be under the watch. By tomorrow afternoon we will be under a hurricane warning.
