I was EXTREMELY sad when I found out it was gonna be in London. I live in NYC and it would be AWESOME if it was here. I was totally looking forward to it, but I guess its not happening.

  1. Prob 911..

  2. Well, having seen, firsthand, what L.A. had to do 24 years ago, it takes A LOT of open space.  Neither L.A., now, nor NYC really have that.  Besides, the Summer Olympics were just here in 1996.  Russia is WAY ahead of us (the U.S.) for dibs.  Vladivostokin '16!

  3. Because it's been to America many times before. Only once has it been to the UK, and that was only a second option.

I'm glad the UK has got it. We deserve it. It's nice to see someone else but the Americans winning.

  4. They couldn't compromise with the Jets for West Side Stadium.

It could happen in some 30-40 years.

Hopefully Chicago gets it in 2016. The Bid is near perfect and It would be the smartest choice too. The Accommodations are unquestionably great and Chicago took the Green theme farther.
