Because they want it when most people in  the U.S are awake.  I am watching it on Wimbledon Live, because I can't stand the way they make us wait.

Because it is just getting started.  They are hoping to get people warm up and settled then maybe then they will switch.  They are suppose to start broadcasting the single men's matches at 9am.  That is the broadcast time.  They have to unfortunately follow broadcast regulations.  I got to Yahoo sports just to check the scores because the matches are almost never on time.  We get delayed versions all the time.

what a match. Safin played well but not as good as when he took Djoker apart.

Fed played like Fed and won 6-3, 7-6, 6-4 and looks like he is ready to beat either Rafa or Rainer in the Final.

Rafa vs. Rainer is coming up next so you can still watch that match. I think it should be more interesting and last much longer.

because of contractual agreements, some matches are embargoed to air at specific times.  Then there is time difference....If you are in the states, the Internet seems the best way to go..or just wait for your local NBC station to air it.
