  1. They Kryptonite defense was devised shortly after the superman punch, rendering the attack utterly useless.

  2. Man, you have been readin to many magazines!!!

  3. Because it would be sidestepped, and a left hook thrown to counter it...  The problem is that if you leave your feet, you're completely unable to react to what the other person does to counter, and it's going to take you quite a bit of time to get back in a position to defend yourself again.  In that time, it's lights out.  The reason that it's useful in MMA is that there are so many more combinations taht can be done from it.  It boxing if you throw a superman and get hit, even if it merely pushes you aside without causing damage, touching the mat is going to be ruled a knockdown and likely losing the round 10-8.  Also, with 5 oz MMA gloves, a single superman punch is often sufficient to knock out an opponent or put him on the ground to then ground and pound.  With 8-12oz boxing gloves and an inablity to fight from the clench or the ground, the person who you're throwing it at will simply defend the punch and counter.  It just doesn't work in boxing.

  4. It be very useful for sure, lol.
