Why isn't the battery of my camera (SONY DSC T30)getting charged ?

Question

the charger should show a green light on getting fully charged ... but when i plug it in for charging ... it shows a yellow light for a while ... and then goes off with out the battery getting fully charged ......... please help me out i'm going for a vacation and .......need help on this

so when you bought it they gave it to in less money

because  they didn't charge it that's why.
