Why isn't the media covering the refusal of the democrats to come back in session and hammer out energy bill?

Yet, when Ted Stevens was indicted the other day, it was front page news on the Washington Post and NY Times.  Yet the NY Post (Fox's newspaper) put it on page 4 in a tiny caption at the bottom of the page, while the 55 pound homeless cat got the front page.

Well Boo that is just not true.  The democrats will not lift the ban -- Thank GOD.  There is no reason to be drilling away ANWAR for 16 months worth of oil (BEST case scenario).  Add in the banned offshore areas for a total of 2.95 years of oil.

I'm glad.  I hope Bush can't do jack sh*t until his term is done.

    It's not like it's an an important issue. compare it to the coverage of Larry Craig's arrest for talking to the guy in the next stall. Or that republican congressman (mark foley)that sent e-mails to a former intern.. The media made it sound like he'd been making g*y advances on this intern, you had to read carefully to see, it was former intern, now in his 20s. Big deal, crybaby.

    Liberal media has no pride- no wonder they are ignored and avoided, except by other self -deluded liberals. A person would have to be either delusional, ignorant, or corrupt to be a democrat.

It is commonly believed that many main media outlets lean toward the liberal side of the spectrum. Any sort of negative story directed towards democrats is usually not widely covered.

its funny how the liberals who support the ban on any oil drilling regardless of how much oil is recovered are at this moment sitting in a air conditioned mansion,with a fleet of s.u.v`s parked outside that just flew cross country in private jets not filled to capacity to various beach front estates sitting with their fellow weathy liberals sipping on some thousand dollar bottle of wine that was flown across an ocean from liberal europe laughing at the idiots that support them,knowing when they manage to destroy the U.S. economy they will not join in the suffering think not ask the russians how their leaders joined in the suffering,liberal policies are communist policies repackaged.
