  1. It would be really hard to enforce that tax.

I think people shouldn't have to pay taxes.  Instead, they should have to pay for services.

If they need an ambulance that should be $500 per use.  The use of roads - that's easy - $2.00 a use.  Schools - $15,000/year.  That way, you'll only need to pay for what you use.  Sure, it may be a lot more expensive in the long run, but at least you won't need to pay those pesky taxes for things you never use.

  2. Your first answerer is probably from the government...  Because there's no way to trace how much shade an individual uses.  [Same thing for marijuana]

  3. umm youre an idiot.

  4. While shade in the summertime can be considered a luxury, the government has yet to figure out how to tax the air we breath, among other things, so they can't tax shade until they can figure out how to enforce it, let alone get it to pass into a law.  I think they'd have a much easier time taxing the hot air that blows out of a politician's mouth, and make more money on that tax anyhow.

  5. You mean "Why isn't it yet"?

God knows- They would if they could!

  6. Cause this is the land of the FREE!
