Question:

Why isn't there a Stabucks in Western Australia? When will they bring the franchise here?

I've just moved to Perth and am so upset that Western Australian is the only state without a Starbucks! I think we have just as much right as any other place in Australia, especially since today Perth is the fastest growing city in the country and is currently the most expensive city in Australia to live in. Don't you think it's entitled to a Starbucks then? Does any know if there are plans in the works to bring the franchise here?

  1. really? i cant believe that..i thought SB is everywhere now.

  2. That might be the reason why there isn't one - "...is currently the most expensive city in Australia to live in...". Another reason could be that Aussies aren't as big coffee drinkers as Americans are.

  3. You are so lucky to live in Perth. Is that your issue with it? I have traveled all over and you are living in heaven. Sorry, can't feel sorry for you!

  4. I live in Perth and am not fazed that we don't have Starbucks.  We have Gloria Jeans, Dome, Muzz Buzz...can't think of any others right now but I am sure there are others.

I don't know about being 'entitled' to a starbucks, not sure what you have to do to get another coffee shop entitlement!!

There isn't one in the Northern Territory either if it makes you feel less alone?

    Good luck with your petition!!

    :o)

  5. Starbucks is not a  franchise.

You should contact them and let them know Perth needs a Starbucks and all the business  they are missing out on.
