Why isn't there more regulation on Wall Street nowadays?

Read this short but superb article. And have an open mind when you read it. I think it is an EXCELLENT case for more regulation.

  1. I generally agree with Nader's viewpoints, but when he's talking about the alleged "need" for more regulation (as if there isn't enough already) he goes a bit off the wall (he's great on corporate welfare, the Fed, social issues, and foreign policy though).  However, not everybody can be Ron Paul.


  2. Wait just a minute.  If Wall Street were to be regulated, that would mean prices wouldn't be so high.  Do you really think the crooked politicians that run the country are going to let something like that happen?  Think about it, they are getting their pockets lined by some of these folks.
