  1. GOod question...i think maybe they are small so would need a lot to get the meat off!

My girl cats are bad (rather good!!) at catching mice...a few weeks ago they brought one home and i walked in, just in time to see one bite the head clean off...she looked up at me with blood on her nose and her sister eagerly cleaned the split guts up off the floor...if there were cat shrinks I would need to take those girls for sessions!!!!!!

  2. Wow, thats a good question.... but.. my cats only kill mice because they move, they are fun to catch and let go and throw around and roll on until they die lol (they dont even eat the mice, just torture it until it dies). Same with birds, they bring birds into the house then let them go, so the birds are flying around until we can throw a towel on them and get them outside.. lol, cats are so crazy. But thinking of mouse meat.. are they going to build a mouse abattoir and get meat from mice, its uneconomical, its just so much easier to get the off-cuts from chicken and beef and fish and stick it in a can for cats. Also, if it was just to be flavouring, which poor guy would have the horrible job of creating the flavour and taste testing it??

  3. I don't think cats actually like eating mice.

They just like killing them, then leaving them at your front doorstep to stand in. (YUCK)

  4. Those EPA ********!

  5. Cats don't eat mice, just play with them and chew them up

  6. Because mice taste like chicken! :)

  7. cuz they hate those meeses to pieces, lol

  8. I have often wondered that myself. Mouse and bird flavour to a cat are natural and maybe it would stop them bringing us nice little pressies home. A dead mouse dropped on my pillow in the middle of the night is not what I call fun although my cat think so. I still love him no matter what his little pressies are.

  9. Hi there... actually here is freeze dried mouse treats sold: http://catniptoys.com/Merchant2/merchant...

  10. Because they dont contain much nutrition and are not raised life stock like cows, lambs etc which are bred to be killed for food.

  11. I don't think that cats actually like to eat the mice.  To them chasing and catching the mice is a game. Not for sure but in my experience the cats never eat the mouse, only catch it and kill it, then they're done with it.
