  1. Buddy, i had exactly the same problem! all that comes up on my screen is the sound and then this funny imagey pattern c**p. It's because we downloaded the wrong file type, something about WPMA and AVi or something, i don't entireley get it - but i'm sorry to say, ther's nothing to do about it.

the only possible thing to do is the following = copy and paste the movie onto a memory stick, and then plug that into a portable DVD player that has a USB connection mode! that is the only thing to do....

hope this was a bit of help?!

  2. Hi,

I think downloading a codec pack will solve the problem. You can download a codec pack here:

    http://downloads.vnunet.nl/download/code...

    Simply download, unzip and install.

I had this problem too with .AVI files. But the problem is solved with this codec pack.

To learn more about codecs, check wikipedia:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codec

    I hope this helps,

    Luc

  3. Try RealPlayer, it is a much better player.

  4. that happens to me sometimes, usually because Windows Media cant play back the file type the movie is in. like .AVI or something like that.

i recommend downloading GOM Media Player. its free, fast, and has worked for every video ive tried watching on it so far. heres the link:
